This repeater is linked to Mt Vaca and beyond via the GORILLA radio network and the CARLA SYSTEM.
The 442.475 is still linked to Mt. VACA (440.750), but MOST of the traffic you hear will be from the CARLA SYSTEM coming through the Mt VACA repeater. To access the carla system through our repeater, you'll need to send a PL of 173.9. THE PROBLEM is this is NOT a designed access, it's just a TRICK way to activate the VACA repeaters linking radios. Your PL may not actually pass through the 442.475 repeater (wa6ewv) with enough amplitude to activate the Mt Vaca systems. SO, if you don't get a reply, it's due to the PL not making the long haul to Mt VACA. When the wa6ewv repeater is modified, you won't have to use this TRICK to enter the CARLA system.
